About Me

Hi! I'm Calen Wood, the founder of Wanderwood Travel.

I've always been drawn to exploring new places, whether it's hiking through forests, wandering charming small towns, strolling down beautiful beaches, or discovering local food and culture. Every trip has taught me something new, and I created Wanderwood Travel to share those experiences with others and inspire you to wander your own paths.

With my help, you'll find destination guides, travel itineraries, planning tips, packing advice, hotel recommendations, outdoor adventures, and honest insights from my own travels. My hope is to help make travel easier, less stressful, and more rewarding for every type of travel.

No matter where you're headed—across the state or across the world—I hope Wanderwood Travel helps you plan your next great adventure with confidence.

My specialties

As an added note...

I can help in planning any type of travel to any destination. However, I specialize in family travel and small groups. Or as I like to call them, friend-cations.

I am quite knowledgeable and have a special place in my heart for countries around the Pacific Rim. Most especially, the Western U.S. and Canada, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand.
